ABOUT  TYPE 2 COACHING

At Type 2 Coaching I understand that peoples time is precious and they want to use it wisely to progress and enjoy their sport. It's the same whether they are a relative novice or a seasoned pro.

I believe in simple efficient training, each session should have a purpose that puts athletes longevity and education above quick results.

MEET THE COACH

Coach. Tom Hibberd

I have been coaching endurance sports & triathlon since 2008, I am a Personal Coach (BTF Level 2 Diploma) and Club Coach (BTF Level 2) as well as former head coach of TFN Tri Club in Nottingham. In addition I am also an open water, Swim Smooth and indoor cycling coach.

I've taken part in triathlon events from sprint to ironman distance. Aside from triathlon I was a keen cycle time trial rider and a former rugby player and competitive skydiver. Now I'm focused on staying healthy and delivering great coaching.

T2C COACHING SERVICES

I offer two tiers of coaching, either a rolling 1:1 coaching weekly plan with regular contact and adjustment from myself or a one-off 12 week plan. In addition T2C offers a variety of other services, these are free to my 1:1 coaching plan clients.

1:1 Coaching 

  • Full consultation before starting training discussing your needs and goals. 

  • Weekly dynamic updated plans. 

  • Plan delivered by Training Peaks.

  • Weekly coach contact for two way feedback. 

  • Fitness testing, swim video analysis, basic bike fit and training analysis included

  • £150 per month.

12 Week Plans

  • Full consultation before starting training discussing your needs and goals. 

  • 12 week custom plan delivered by Training Peaks.

Additional Services

  • Fitness Testing for Swim/Bike/Run to set your training zones. 

  • Basic Bike Fit and race equipment consultation. 

  • Turbo or Smart Trainer Set Up.

  • mapping, navigation and bike computer usage.

  • Video Swim Analysis.

  • £60 per session, included in 1:1 Coaching Plans.
